This is a great reproduction of a 50s car club jacket, for the HOWLIN' WOLVES in Luther, Arkansas! Made by Toyo Enterprises in Japan, under their Style Eyes label, it's a quality reproduction. Classic, varsity style jacket in black corduroy with black/white knit cuffs and bottom hem, and a regular, folded collar. Lined in a soft flannel.
The front name patch "Gabriel" is embroidered and the back is all chainstitch embroidery. The jacket was not easy to photograph because it is so dark, it is definitely a deep, inky black - any pictures that make it look lighter or faded is just the lighting, or me trying to show the details. The item is pre-owned/used but in GREAT shape overall, there's NO damage or problems to mention, it's in perfect shape, just not brand new. It has been worn and cleaned over time, but there's NO holes, tears, stains, etc... TONS of life left in it!Fits like a comfortable Medium, or the small side of Large. I wear a Large in most Japanese reproductions and I could wear this with a t-shirt, but it's a touch on the small side for me. Chest - Across underarms, seam to seam, then doubled - 40 INCHES. Length - Top of shoulder to bottom of shirt hem - 23.5 INCHES.
Shoulder - Across back of shoulders, seam to seam - 17.5 INCHES. Sleeve - Seam at top of shoulder, to end of sleeve - 24.5 INCHES. Feel free to ask for more pictures, measurements or any questions you have!
